  • As a trauma-informed therapist at Abbington House, I bring over 16 years of clinical experience in mental health, rehabilitation, and addiction. My clinical focus includes complex trauma, PTSD, moral injury, and post-concussion syndromes.

Short Biography

My work is rooted in the belief that trauma recovery is essential for sustainable healing from addiction. I use an integrative, person-centred approach combining EMDR, Brainspotting, Gestalt Therapy, DBT, Schema Therapy, and somatic tools to help clients process trauma and develop meaningful coping strategies for a life beyond survival.

Originally trained as a clinical psychologist in Ukraine, I also hold advanced degree in physical and occupational therapy, which deepen my understanding of the nervous system and the mind-body connection. I address trauma not just cognitively, but also emotionally and somatically, tailoring therapy to each client’s individual needs.

In addition to individual therapy, I am passionate about group work and community-based recovery. Trained facilitator of prenatal loss support groups. Regularly leading sessions for veterans, families, and individuals experiencing traumatic grief. I’ve also developed online platforms (“Razom” for Children and Razom Adults) for those affected by war.

Created a program to train mental health professionals in managing interdisciplinary rehabilitation teams in psychiatric services in Ukraine. Since moving to the UK in 2022, I continue to support veterans navigating addiction, trauma, and the transition to civilian life. My work is grounded in the belief that recovery is possible when we treat the whole person—mind, body, and spirit—and that prevention is the most powerful tool we have. This is not just my work; it is my mission.

Specialisation

At Abbington House, I specialise in trauma recovery and addiction therapy with a focus on PTSD, moral trauma, and traumatic loss. I use EMDR, DBT, Brainspotting, Gestalt Therapy, and Adult Schema Therapy to help clients access emotional safety, build resilience, and regain regulation. I also offer support for grief and loss.

Strongly believe in the healing power of the community. Whether through individual or group therapy, it is important to create a safe, reflective space where people can process trauma, share lived experience, and move from isolation toward connection. Through group work we can understand trauma dynamics and recovery through healthier communication and boundaries.
